Corral joins Digital Asset

Digital Asset has appointed industry veteran and former head of collateral services at Pirum Ed Corral as head of clearance and collateral management within its sales organisation.
Based in New York, Corral will lead initiatives at the intersection of traditional and decentralised finance, with a particular focus on collateral mobility and optimisation through tokenisation.
He joins Digital Asset with more than 38 years of industry experience across clearance, collateral management, American depository receipts, finance, and corporate trust.
Corral has served as managing director and head of collateral strategy at J.P. Morgan.
Prior to that, he was global head of triparty repo and global head of collateral optimisation at Morgan Stanley, following a 20‑year tenure at JPMorgan Chase as managing director and global head of clearance.
