OSTTRA, a global post-trade solutions provider, has announced that BNP Paribas has made an equity investment in the company.

BNP Paribas joins the consortium of global banks — including Bank of America, Barclays, Citi, HSBC, Wells Fargo, and UBS Investment Bank — announced in February this year.

Funds managed by private equity firm KKR remain the majority owner of OSTTRA.

According to OSTTRA, the investment from BNP Paribas further underscores industry confidence in the firm’s strategic direction and reinforces its critical role as shared infrastructure across global financial markets.

Working alongside KKR and the consortium, BNP Paribas will collaborate closely with OSTTRA as it continues to advance its global post-trade ecosystem, streamlining workflows, reducing operational risk, and enhancing market efficiency across asset classes.

Joe Bonnaud, head of Global Markets EMEA at BNP Paribas, says: “Joining this consortium of leading institutions reflects our commitment to advancing market infrastructure and working collaboratively with OSTTRA to deliver next-generation operational solutions for our clients. OSTTRA’s post-trade architecture is central to the resilience and efficiency of global capital markets.”

John Stewart and Guy Rowcliffe, co-CEOs at OSTTRA add: “We are delighted to welcome BNP Paribas to the group of strategic bank investors in OSTTRA.

“BNP Paribas’ participation further validates our market-leading position and strengthens our collective focus on driving innovation, growth, and efficiency across the global post-trade lifecycle.”
