Leddington-Hill departs HSBC

Matthew Leddington-Hill is to depart from HSBC following five years with the bank.
Based in Singapore, he was most recently director of repo and rates trading, having first joined the team in the bank’s Hong Kong office in 2021.
Earlier in his career, Leddington-Hill held an eight-year tenure at MUFG during which time he took on positions in London, Hong Kong, and Japan.
He held similar roles at MUFG, where he was most recently deputy chief manager for repo and rates trading.
Leddington-Hill began at MUFG on the 2012 graduate programme and conducted fixed income settlement across cash, repo, and triparty.
He first began at UBS Global Asset Management’s London office as a trainee within business and client services.
